Smart? If and only if Language is everything.
Stupid they say if you claim, the “WATER” ain’t the covalent bond between oxygen and hydrogen, and it’s what our language made it be!
This what Ludwig Wittgenstein and the following or other ancestors of German Idealists claim or at least my humble perception of such tells me so.
Imagine the imagination:
Wittgenstein was just so into creating phrases like this. The sheer process of conceptualization of any concept so it transcends a level higher and could be studied and researched by its own methods. Thus imagining the imagination is possible.
The imagination process is almost a LEGO gameplay. There is no other way to form any concept in your mind that is not a combination of already existed abstraction of “things”. By now, you may ask yourself that above is a firm objection to this claim of everything being under domination or even in a much bigger claim made by language!
Ecosystem: A two-way intelligent factory
Well, as the dear Ludwig has shown in his famous “philosophical investigation”, any tool craft or other products of a human mind which incarnate the inner needs of a mind which is formed by the very “social” form of human beings lifestyle which only is developed through the communication of people and that only could be possible with a tool of language is absolutely a process of using linguistics into a body-frame of life.
Take “hammer” for an instant. Calling something a hammer, is not representing something that actually exists before “we” in nature. This is like probably a dude wanted to make a ham out of something (I wish it was not another person) and asked another dude that how am I gonna crush the sh#t out of it and then some dude came up with the tool idea.
Yes, if there were no language to voice the need inside, there wouldn’t be any solution out there.
Let's steal the world out of the hands of THE WATCHMAKER
Being daring enough for an effort to extend such an idea to the origin of nature(!), Let's suppose water!
The evolution of species is a critical point to recall in this disclamatory. In the very combination of two oxygens and one hydrogen, there exists no essence! If we could simply divide the living creatures into terrestrial and aquatic animals, then water, as thirst satisfier would be water to terrestrials and water, would be air as breath provider to aquatics!
The evolution of the surrounding universes also depends on the creature demand of their surrounding! These little laps of tagging cognition happen even within a species!
For fire trapped humans, water is a life-saving medicine, for a fever patient it is cooler, and for a drawing marine, it is a death valley.
